Visitors coming to the site will be able to search a variety of artists and mediums. There have been clients who have commissioned multiple commemorative artists for their deceased (teddy bears, portraits, collage).
Directory Listings
Grief support organizations and businesses desire to connect their clientele with group resources via links on their website, newsletters and directory listings. Several of our founding members have existing personal contacts with many support groups. We will also pursue all other venues to maximize listings and information sharing.
Media
Bereavement art is an unknown resource that is vital to the community at large. BereavementArtists.com will actively seek publicity for our entire group of artists and to educate the public on the services we all provide. Visit the News/Events page to learn more.
Educating the Public
Members of BereavementArtists.com either give presentations or exhibit several times per year. This helps attract, introduce and educate the public to BereavementArtists.com’s artists and about the process of commissioning art.
Conventions
BereavementArtists.com desires to have a presence and share information at state, regional and national annual conventions of funeral directors, churches, hospice care, and more.
Resources
Members will have access to our online community listing of resources for art supplies, artist retreats, printers, promotional materials and many more! You’ll have the opportunity to share your resources, too. This will be updated bi-annually.
Other
An annual retreat for bereavement artists to learn from and support one another could be enriching and fun. Let us know what you think.
